We all go boating for enjoyment. It really does not matter whether your boat is 5 metres long and powered by a small outboard, or 20 metres and driven by two inboard diesel engines: we do it for fun!
For those coming to boating for the first time-or perhaps thinking about buying a boat I have some clear objectives - to help those starting out afloat:
Help to avoid buying the wrong type of boat.
Help to avoid expensive mistakes.
Help to become confident in their boat handling.
Help to look after their own, their families and their friends safety when afloat.
I operated a RYA Training Centre (Norfolk Powerboating) for 15 years, and
I will continue to offer non Certificated Courses - boat handling and navigation skills for example and specialise in helping boat owners (and prospective boat owners) on the inland rivers, waterways and Broads through professional and relaxed training.
I have close links to two local RYA Training Centres - who I am more than happy to recommend if you seek a formal RYA qualification.
And if, or when you are ready to extend your cruising onto coastal water - help to do just that-perhaps an assisted passage?
Your Choice! Just ask!
