We are one of a very few Training Centres to offer the Inland Waterways Helmsman's Course and all of the RYA Coastal Powerboat Courses.  Our  own Inland Craft  are operated from Dilham on the River Ant, arguably one of the most unspoilt areas on the Norfolk Broads: remember that you can also take your Inland Course in your boat - wherever it is. You could also choose to follow the Powerboat Scheme by starting inland with a Level 2 Displacement Course.


You can also qualify for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) by completing the Inland Waterways Course, and  you can of course add the CEVNI endorsement for use on European Inland Waterways.

We have a typical comfortable Broads Cruiser, forward steering with an inboard diesel engine, fully equipped for cruising, including warm air heating for early or late season!  Or we are equally happy to provide tuition on your own craft - whether it be Broads or river cruiser, narrow boat or barge.

Dutch Steel, US or British GRP - they  can all make comfortable Inland Cruisers - and we are happy to teach on any, single or twin, shaft drive or outdrive.

The Inland Waterways Course covers all the elements you need for safe, secure and worry free boat handling and inland navigation. If you feel that you would like to expand your horizons we can of course move onto the RYA Coastal Powerboat Courses at  Lowestoft.
