Let us deal with Schedules first: easy this one - excepting the Shore based Courses  - we do not have any!

What we  will do is our very best to meet your needs - no long boring lists of dates!  

 

1. The first step is to decide on the best Course for you - email or call if you would like to talk it through with us.

 

2.  Let us know (email   or phone on 01263 576768) your ideal dates.

 

3.  We will whenever possible see if we can match them, or offer alternatives.

 

4. Once we have agreed dates we will send ( or download) a Booking Form.  Returning this form with a deposit cheque payable to “Sextant Management Services Ltd” confirms your booking.

 

Lowestoft Haven Marina in addition to being awarded “5 Anchors” in 2007 in respect of its facilities offers us 24 hr access to both the Harbour and North Sea, and is well situated for some interesting and challenging pilotage and navigation exercises. There are also several options for daylight cruises to nearby Great Yarmouth,  or farther afield to the attractive River Orwell.

 

If you are seeking own boat tuition we are happy to come to you - often we can arrange the Course of your choice as part of a delivery trip, perhaps to a new cruising ground for the season.  Your  boat should be properly equipped for the task in hand, and of course insured.  We can usually provide Charts, Navigation equipment, Hand held VHF Radios, Compass etc if needed., and are happy to recount our own experiences with the various brands we have used (and sometimes abused!).

 

We provide Water Resistant Two Piece Suits, Automatic Gas Lifejackets for all our Courses.  Please wear footwear that you would not be too heartbroken should they get damp - it can happen!  We also provide the necessary RYA Logbooks and for all of you who are successful , Certificates; all included in the Course Costs.
