RYA FIRST AID COURSE
A one day course which focuses on the key techniques needed in the event of accident or injury afloat.
This course is a must for all who use the sea, be it with loved ones and friends or for commercial reasons. Remember there is no ambulance, no paramedic to come to your assistance straight away.
This course gives you the knowledge to preserve life at sea while help arrives. The course covers resuscitation, bandage work, hypothermia, drowning, radio assistance and helicopter rescue etc.
It is well worth at least 2 crew having this knowledge as you are unsure who may become ill.
