RYA Power Day Skipper

The RYA Day Skipper Theory Course sits comfortably alongside the Powerboat Scheme and offers a 5 day shore based  Course covering  the theory needed for daytime coastal cruising.  

 

The Course covers Pilotage, Tides, Passage Planning , weather , Collision Regulations and dicussses boat  handling and managing a powered craft at sea.

 

Unlike the powerboat scheme where these skills are incorporated into the Level 2 & Intermediate Courses, the Day Skipper Theory Course is totally shore based.

 

 

If you would like a 1:1 dedicated course we are one of the few Training Centres that will provide that: for a small additional charge.

 

As with all our Courses we do not have an inflexible list of dates, just let us know when you would ideally like to take the Course and we will do our best to match your dates or suggest some alternatives.
